Site/Story is a publishing and marketing platform

Site/Story provides tools for presenting project information, progress, products, contributors, and business contact details. Site/Story is not a general contractor, subcontractor, architect, engineer, lender, insurer, building inspector, real estate broker, or employment agency. Site/Story may facilitate introductions and track job outcomes through its optional business success program. Site/Story does not perform, supervise, control, or guarantee construction or other services displayed on the platform.

Optional success program and job records

An approved business account may join the success program directly in Builder Studio by accepting its business-paid fee terms before a qualifying introduction. Customers owe Site/Story no referral fee. Ordinary project credit and existing project packages do not enroll a business. Proposal selection records intent to proceed and does not replace a separate contractor agreement, required consumer disclosures, or cancellation notices. Site/Story does not hold customer construction payments. Private job pages, documents, status responses, and necessary payment reports are shared with the assigned business and Site/Story for operational tracking, disputes, and billing. Keep private links confidential. Contact us about access, corrections, retention, or required records. Records may be retained for legitimate contractual, accounting, dispute, or legal obligations. Property stories and real estate marketing

Property Stories provide fixed-price marketing deliverables, not brokerage, real estate representation, offers, settlement services, or a sale commission. Seller and represented-agent permission and Site/Story review are required for property preview publication. Public previews can trigger MLS or advertising obligations; responsible professionals and sellers must meet applicable rules. Listing-update subscriptions require email confirmation and include an unsubscribe option. Private handover files contain selected project-team-supplied records and do not certify condition, warranty transfer, or compliance or replace required disclosures or inspections. No endorsement or guarantee

A business, person, product, lender, or service appearing on Site/Story is not endorsed, recommended, certified, or guaranteed by Site/Story unless an express written statement says otherwise. Labels such as “verified” may confirm a stated identity or connection to a project; they do not represent a guarantee of licensing, insurance, workmanship, safety, legal compliance, financial stability, availability, or fitness for a particular purpose.

Independent contractors and agreements

All contractors, subcontractors, suppliers, and other listed professionals are independent third parties. Site/Story is not a party to any estimate, contract, payment, warranty, representation, dispute, injury, property loss, delay, defect, code violation, lien, or other matter arising between a visitor, property owner, project professional, or business. Any decision to contact, hire, pay, or rely on a listed party is made solely by the user.

Your responsibility to investigate

Before hiring or paying any professional, users should independently verify identity, references, applicable licenses, permits, insurance, bonding, complaint history, written estimates, warranties, and contract terms. Requirements differ by location and trade. The Federal Trade Commission also recommends confirming contractor licensing and insurance and obtaining written information before work begins.

Property Stories and MLS listings

Site/Story does not replace or act as an MLS listing. It tells the property’s story and builds interest before and during marketing. Official listing details, availability, showings, offers, and sale transactions remain with the responsible agent or seller. Property Stories can feature vacant lots, teardowns, new construction, renovations, and flips. A preview does not exempt the responsible parties from applicable marketing, listing, or disclosure requirements.

Project content and conceptual images

Project descriptions, timelines, pricing references, photographs, products, contributor information, and status updates may be supplied by users or third parties and may change. Renderings, “finished vision” images, and AI-assisted visuals are conceptual only. They are not construction documents, professional advice, promises of completion, or guarantees of final appearance, cost, timing, feasibility, code compliance, or product availability.

Paid placements and disclosures

Businesses may pay Site/Story for project pages, placement, enhanced visibility, signs, or promotional services. Paid or sponsored relationships will be identified where disclosure is required. Project credits and factual statements must be accurate and must not create a misleading impression about a business’s role or relationship to a project.

Disclaimer of warranties

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Site/Story and its content are provided “as is” and “as available,” without warranties of any kind, express or implied. Site/Story disclaims warranties of accuracy, completeness, merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, non-infringement, availability, security, and uninterrupted operation.

Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, Site/Story and its owners, officers, employees, contractors, affiliates, and service providers will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, or for losses arising from construction services, contractor selection, project outcomes, property damage, personal injury, delays, defects, disputes, lost profits, lost data, or reliance on platform content. Nothing in these terms excludes liability that cannot lawfully be excluded.

User content and privacy

Project owners are responsible for having permission to publish submitted photographs, names, logos, contact details, plans, and other content. Exact residential addresses, access instructions, security information, personal schedules, and private contact details should not be published. Public project content may be viewed, shared, indexed, photographed, or linked by others.

Optional website analytics

With your permission, Site/Story uses Google Analytics to understand public page visits and selected actions, such as opening checkout or clicking a business contact link. Google Analytics may use cookies and receive technical information such as device, browser, and network information. Site/Story does not intentionally send names, email addresses, phone numbers, form entries, private account pages, or private invoice and access tokens through this tracking. You can decline analytics or change your choice through the Analytics preferences button. Declining does not prevent you from browsing, using Builder Studio, or receiving project emails you requested. Installation does not change these choices.

Pilot feedback

Feedback you submit is stored for Site/Story administrators to review and is not published as a public review. You may share a rating, comments, and a project. Email is optional; Site/Story saves an email with feedback only when you ask us to reply. Contact us at kristi.sitestory@gmail.com if you want your feedback removed.

Changes and legal review

Site/Story may update these terms as the platform and its services develop. Continued use after an update constitutes acceptance of the revised terms where permitted by law. These launch terms are intended as a general platform notice and should be reviewed by qualified legal counsel before Site/Story begins accepting payments at scale or operating in additional jurisdictions.
